Two Pairs of Shorts (Sept. 12-14, 19-21, 26-28) Synopsis: Four short stories First up is Boys Night Out. Something you might expect of a couple of guys with time on their hands and nothing better to do than create a little mischief -- or is it? The Hunting Party depicts us stalking prey in darkest Africa. A Trip in Time is an intimate lunch for two as old friends discuss recent events. And Once Upon A Beginning, written by E. Eugene Perry, "takes an irreverent look at how a reptile gets her way by striking deals with three famous couples from the Old Testament. This slightly -- make that heavily -- skewed, shamelessly silly version of biblical history is full of laughs for all ages, revealing the secrets behind how Samson got his haircut, Adam discovered the differences between strawberries and apples, and Noah's wife survived forty days and nights in a floating zoo!" -- Laconia Daily Sun
Note: We're taking "Two Pairs of Shorts" on the road this month! On Friday, Sept. 19, we'll be in Shannon, IL, and on Friday, Sept. 26, we'll be in Stockton, IL. Both on-the-road performances will be dessert theater-style, with tickets going for just $20. Obviously, these two performances will mean our own Orangeville theater will be "dark" those evenings.
